Pete Wales

Label co-owner Pete Wales fell in love with house music and the scene whilst working in a bar in Ibiza in 1995. DJ's such as Alfredo, Jason Bye and Jose Padilla provided the soundtrack which left lasting impressions and strongly influenced the melodic, deep sound of Pete's productions and DJ style. One of his first releases 'Let It Go' on Shove Music gained huge support and was featured as the first track on Funkagenda's (Toolroom Records) debut BBC Radio One DJ mix. Another track called 'Dealing with Fire' was championed for several weeks by BBC Radio One's Trophy Twins on their After Party Show, further cementing his name as a producer to watch. In 2008, Pete along with good friend Daryl Stay set up Saki Music to output their own and their close friends music. In the short time the label has been running they have had numerous reviews in top dance music magazines, radio airtime across the world and support from some of the most respected DJ's across the globe, like Dubfire, Tom Novy, Benny Benassi, Tania Vulcano, Cristian Varela, Patrice Baumel, Evil Eddie Richards, Dave Mothersole, Jesse Rose and Brendon Moeller.
